The bombed out church, St Lukes in Liverpool, that lost its roof during the May blitz of 1941.
In it's grounds a memorial to the Irish who died during the great hunger 1845-52.
Over one and a half million Irish passed through Liverpool during those dark years. Many settled there and their descendants still live in the city to this day. Its estimated that around 75% of the Liverpool population has Irish ancestry.
